RBWRP is a community‑driven initiative that strengthens Balochistan communities through water conservation, rainwater harvesting, and climate‑smart agriculture. We are locally led, self‑motivated, and rooted in the belief that balanced water, resources, and people today will secure livelihoods and dignity for generations to come.
🌊 Mission
The mission of Revival & Balance of Water, Resources, People (RBWRP) is to bring communities together to care for their own water, land, and livelihoods. As a self‑initiated, community‑led effort, we promote rainwater harvesting, climate‑smart agriculture, and fair use of natural resources so that water, resources, and people remain in balance for generations. We work side by side with women, men, youth, and elders to strengthen local governance, uphold transparency, and ensure that decisions about natural resources are made by and for the people who depend on them.

Revival & Balance of Water, Resources, People (RBWRP) envisions a world where water, resources, and people are in balance — now and for generations to come. We see Balochistan’s communities as stewards of their land and water, leading local solutions, sharing knowledge, and inspiring others to live in harmony with nature.
🌱 Our Work
Revival & Balance of Water, Resources, People (RBWRP) focuses on four community‑driven strategic areas to revive Balochistan’s water resources, protect rangelands, and strengthen people’s resilience:
1️⃣ Strengthening Governance of Water & Rangelands
- Working with communities, customary institutions, and provincial authorities to co‑create fair and inclusive water and rangeland rules.
- Encouraging better local practices and community agreements for agriculture, livestock, and land use.
- Supporting community‑informed Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) plans at sub‑river basin level, grounded in local knowledge and needs.
2️⃣ Promoting Climate‑Smart Farming Systems
- Co‑designing farming and livestock practices with local producers that use less water and protect soils.
- Training households and youth groups in water‑efficient and climate‑smart agriculture.
- Scaling up community‑managed rainwater harvesting and revegetation to replenish groundwater.
- Rehabilitating rangelands through participatory grazing and livestock management led by local herders.
3️⃣ Building Climate‑Resilient Value Chains
- Supporting local groups to organize livestock marketing (meat and dairy) at community and district levels.
- Connecting farmers to reliable information, peer learning, and advisory support on markets and prices.
- Ensuring that both women and men producers can participate in and benefit from climate‑resilient value chains.
4️⃣ Expanding Agro‑Technology Expertise
- Collaborating with universities and research institutions to inspire and train the next generation of agro‑technology leaders from Balochistan.
- Working with public extension services to bring practical, community‑friendly advice on agriculture, livestock, and forestry to villages.
- Encouraging local entrepreneurs and service providers to offer climate‑relevant support and technologies to farmers.
